Applications
Surface Preparation: Clean the wall or ceiling surface by removing loose particles, dirt, grease, and adhering materials with sandpaper, a putty blade, or a wire brush.
Pre-Wetting: Pre-wet the surface before application to improve the workability and coverage of the gypsum plaster.
Mixing Order: Always add HomeSure GypEx Silver gypsum plaster to water; do not add water to the powder.
Mixing Ratio: Maintain a ratio of 1 part water to 1.5 parts plaster for a cohesive, workable mix.
Mixing Method: Mix the gypsum plaster by hand to create a uniform, lump-free paste.
Leveling Setup: Install wooden strips (dhada) or leveling strips in the area where the gypsum plaster for walls or gypsum plaster for ceilings needs to be applied.
First Coat: Apply the first coat at a thickness of approximately 10 mm to 12 mm.
Surface Raking: Rake and cross-rake the surface before the first coat sets.
Compacting: Fill hollow areas, level off, and compact the surface.
Finish Coat: Wait 5–10 minutes for the initial set, then apply the final finish coat of gypsum plaster.
Leveling: Use an aluminum level patty to level the surface.
Drying Time: Allow approximately 72 hours for complete drying (depending on thickness and humidity) before painting.
Immediate Use: Use the material instantly after mixing.
No Re-Mixing: Once the mix has begun to set, additional dry material should not be added, as it alters performance properties like workability, adhesion, and strength.
Thickness Limit: Ensure a single coat of gypsum plaster does not exceed 8 mm to 10 mm in thickness.
Surface Condition: The application surface must be properly leveled and pre-wetted.
Environmental Constraint: Do not apply on surfaces subjected to continuous seepage or dampness.

Ans- 4-month shelf life when stored in a cool, dry place. Keep bags away from moisture and store in a sealed condition. Avoid using partially opened bags unless properly resealed.
